I like it also... but yeah, I hope it comes with lots of power, etc etc........ and I hope they price it right. None of this Bmw/Mercedes prices please ... if it's priced like those, I might as well just get one of them instead.

The S60 was a sharp looking car but wtf just happened?

Simple, based on sales numbers of current generation vehicles, the volvo designers based their ideas on the most popular selling platforms, and tried to make it their own. It's why the majority for european cars have more curvy japanese style lines then the strong lines we're used to. Benz and BMW have all become bubblier and not for the sake of aero I'm sure. They want to sell people what people want to buy and if camry is what sells, they're going to make it look like a camry.

Reasonable reason...but if thats the case, im pretty sure the average person looking for a Camry is not going to go for a Volvo.

Overall, the design will probably grow on me like the XC60 is starting to...but the biggest complaint I have with it, like its been pointed out is it looks like a ripoff/copy of other cars. Even if you didnt like the cars that came after the S70/V70 you had to agree Volvo had cars with a design that was truly unique in the automotive world. This future S60 doesn't seem like it will have that uniqueness.

European cars became more bubbly to meet the crash test figures for pedestrians etc etc
