--Aaron--
Amen, the guys on my press crew and I were talking about this last night......it started with us asking if we remember what we were doing on that tragic date and how we first felt when we saw the news. :(

greekone
The day is still a blur to me. All I remember is I was in third grade and my parents sitting me down to tell me what had happened, even though I had no clue what they were talking about. This event will never be forgotten. Big Will
I remember coming out of a class and hearing that a plane hit one of the towers and then going to watch the news in the library just as the 2nd plane hit - I must have been a junior in high school. Coming from the NYC area, everyone knew someone who was lost that day. I also remember how the smoke covered up the NY skyline and came up the Hudson River stopping just shy of the park in my town. It's probably good that time seems to have moved so quickly but I agree it's something that our generation won't forget.

Pretty much the same thing with me today. Mulling around with some guys and inspectors on the job site and one mentioned it was 9/11 and we all went through our stories about where we were. For me, I was in a private school, so we had morning mass that day and came back to class and the teachers learned then what had happened. Watched the news clips for maybe a half hour after that. But its one of those days that I'll remember no matter what.
DHV70
I was in fourth grade... We had no idea what was going on. They put us in lock down, half the teachers left... We were there until our parents picked us up. It was on loop by the time I got home. My 6 year old brother thought it was a video game... He didn't realize what it really was, or that the family's two closest friends were FDNY.

rj240
I was actually at a Volvo Canada Sales Training class at a hotel near the airport here in Montreal. One of my friends (actually the F&I at our dealer), kept calling me repeatedly. I finally answered my phone and he told me the news. I went back into class and told everyone what was happening. Our instructor was from the US, and decided to call for a break, so we all went down to the lounge where everyone was gathered around three giant screen TC's watching CNN. Needless to say, we spent the rest of the day in the lounge watching the news in complete horror...
