NoodleKnight
This was actually a question the machine shop asked me. I looked around and found out that the piston clearance was 0.01-0.03mm, but I couldn't find any specification on where they measure that clearance from. I'm guessing it's from the diameter of the pistons, but the machine shop seemed to be looking for something more detailed (like distance from wrist pin or skirt or etc...). Maybe I am just misunderstanding something, but before I give them the green light I figured that I would ask and find out what is correct. NoodleKnight
I guessed clearance from piston to cylinder bore. I found that number, I just have to figure out where that number was measured from (which I guessed is the largest diameter of the piston). I'll take all the other clearances related to the pistons, though. EDIT: Okay well talked to Chuck, you reference this spec to the piston skirts.
