Boost Leak

VoOk

Recommended Posts

i just installed a boost gauge and its jumping to 20 psi ??

any one have that problem before or anyone know how to solve it ???

you go ALL the way to 20, or is it spiking?

either way, you've got a leak, but it makes a difference in describing.

If you need an actuator, pm me.

Check the PCV hoses... and your dipstick if its coming out of there.

What modifications are done to the car? Are you using a stock ECU or do you have an upgrade. 20 PSI spikes on a chipped car would not be uncommon.

If you aren't getting a code, you may have a cracked, torn or just plain old vacuum line to the wastegate. You may also have a bad line from the compressor housing

to the TCV or even a bad TCV. New lines all around for sure first.
