Boost3237
AND ALL THE TURBINE WHEELS ON ALL TD04 TURBOS ARE THE SAME (15G/16T/18T/19T), ITS THE DOWNPIPE AND OUTLET ON TURBINE THAT ARE DIFFERENT So I have a 16T and the hot side from my 19T. If I swap the hotsides out do I have a 19T?

Fake-R
So I have a 16T and the hot side from my 19T. If I swap the hotsides out do I have a 19T? No, you then have an angle-flange 16T. Gotta upgrade the compressor wheel.
turbor850
Uh. Wrong. The wheels are not all the same. As you go up, the compressor wheels get bigger. You are wrong. The hot side (turbine) is the same, the cold side (compressor) is different. You're confusing the turbine and compressor as being the same thing. I thought they were the same, ah. I'm sorry, my mistake, Atleast I had enough sense to say Compressor in my post. yeah, it is your mistake . . . and I said TURBINE twice, never referring to a compressor wheel at all . . . so double pwnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnndddddddddd Fixed god I hope someone wouldn't want to put a TD04L or TD04H instead of a TD04HL on their car . . . Mogatu'r
EricFAs you can see, the difference is in outlet size. This has an effect on performance, and all three housings are interchangeable and can be placed on any TD04HL turbo (13G, 13T, 15G, 16T, 18T, 19T, sorry if I forgot anyone!) by removing the center band clamp. Outlet sizes are <2.5" for the conical, >2.5" for the straight, and ~3" for the angled outlet. They also come with varying wastegate actuators, with the angle-outlet turbos receiving the 300/70 actuator with the strongest spring (straight outlet 16T was 215/60, conical 15G was 150/30, others may vary). http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/index.php/topic/86240-modifying-fwd-turbo-volvos-read-dont-comment/ In conclusion, just like Chris (turbor850) said.. If you take any TD04HL 'same wheel' and just upgrade it to a 19t wheel, you will pretty much have a 19t except for the exhaust housing.

B Mac
Don't be retarded. Don't buy a lame actuator for 250 bones lol. Go to atp and buy this http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=ATP-WGT-031&Category_Code=WGT1 Then make it fit your original wastegate actuator bracket like this Have fun holding as much boost as your little hearts desire....unless your actual wastegate flapper isn't working like mine is currently doing OMG WELL I FOUND THAT JAMES (James@turbocharged.com) CAN PUT A 19T WHEEL IN YOUR 15G/16T, REBUILD IT, AND CLIP THE TURBINE WHEEL FOR $400. SEEMS LIKE A BETTER DEAL TO ME THEN GOING THROUGH E-GAY. . . WHAT!!??!?!?!?!?!?! lol...
