Bazarvospeed
Hey guys , I came across a burnt out bulb in my dash , however I know I have a working light in the switches but the bulb itself doesnt light up in my wagon. ( I tested the same switch in my other 850 sedan it lites up ) Is it possible that in my wagon the bulb in the guage cluster ( gas, first half of the speedo) bulb could possibly not sending the power to both my info & trac switch bulbs due to the fact the bulb is burnt in the cluster? I also tested the dimmer switch as well , all workie Let me know people.

Most of the time the illumination lighting uses shared + and gnd so even if one dies the rest should work. The gauge lighting also uses different circuits from the indicator lights. For example, if you ahve the fog harness in your car and add the switch but not the relay, the switch still illuminates, but the cluster indicator won't trigger without the LCU. If your tracs and ABS lights arent coming on in the cluster, first check is bad bulbs, second would be abs unit methinks. My tracs bulb was bad but the system still worked fine and the switch was illuminated. Bad lamps can often be made to flash a momnet by banging on the dash (and jostling the broken fillament). if it's just a couple of switch illumination lights, and the abs/tracs works, then start chasing pink wires... Bazarvospeed
hmmm let me try to explain better on here.... In the cluster I have the trip computer & the left side of the gauges ( Gas , temp, turbo ) bulbs out. I was wondering if any of the bulbs being burnt in the cluster have anything to do with my switch lights in the dash , in other words at night I cant see my god damn switches. So I know the bulbs in the switches are good , since I tested them in the other 850. So before I start going nuts ripping through the pink wires I want to know if the cluster lights trigger this issue I'm having. The switches that have the lights out are the TRAC & INFO
