jnderr
Going to make an attempt to recover some delaminated door panels. I was wondering if anyone who had done it had a suggestion of which 3M spray adhesive was better for the task. Thanks much for everyone's input. jnderr
90 is more heavy duty, 77 my guess is what you picked up at Joanns
T5power
you want to try for something as heavy duty as possible without melting the vinyl, so 90 at a minimum
jnderr
Cool deal, gonna go with some faux suede I think.

matt b
I have 2 cans of 90 sitting around. Lemme know if you are in the area, I know they're cheap, but I hate seen them go to waste.
Dave 54
? what are the differences ? I just used what ever 3m was for sale at joaann fabrics Use the 90, difference is one is alot stronger than the other, the 77 wiil sag away after awhile, heat, weight and gravity. Used the 90 on the headliner of my 740 5-6yrs ago and still holding strong. Used the 77 in anther veh. and within a year it started to sag in areas and had to be redone. mdlimy
somone needs to do a GOOD write up for recovering door panels, headliners are cake, door panels slightly trickier. is the vinyl just coming off the backing or are the 2 cards seperating from eachother? Cal3thousand
88 is slightly cheaper and works WELL. I use 90 for headliners but 88 is MORE than sufficient for side trim.

Yea, I would love to do that. Maybe I'll get a crappy set from harry's u-pull it. I need a crappy front and rear sedan seat, just for measurements. And if someone has a crappy door panel cheap, pm me. Me and my Girlfriend like doing DIY projects like that, so it's no biggie.

Its your standard X70 vinyl separating from the panels.
