64pvolvo1800
I need to replace my exhaust. It's a 98 so I have SAS, upgraded to a 16T, still straight flanged, and I've seen some griping about OBX downpipes lately. I pulled pricing from our favorite OEM and it looks like a crisp $1000 pls shipping for OEM from turbo to tail. Car is never intended to be more than stock hp (well, a T5 stock with whites, ecu, and 16T), but never looking for more than that. Not a show car by any means either, so chrome or stainless is a waste. What other suggestions can you guys offer?

If you are not looking for anything special, go to your local reputable exhaust shop and get them to fix what you got or fab a basic catback. If you are going to keep the car get stainless. 64pvolvo1800
What is wrong with the stock setup that needs replacing? I can smell it in the car and it's been getting progressively louder. I need to get under it and run it to try and find the leaks. It was a northern car so I suspect some rust but I'll find out this weekend when I have time to finally jack it. Maybe I'll throw the 16T on and the white injectors too if it'll stop fucking raining in Atlanta. Sell the wagon and buy a boat
v4lve
As long as it's not the flex pipe or throwing cat codes, and exhaust shop should be able to do some patch work.

Yeah, I have a sick feeling it's going to be in the flex. I can smell exhaust pretty strong when I idle once it's warmed up.

Guess it would all depend on the level to which you want to fix it - could probably pick up a DP up from someone here/jy or go new.
