yea ur right its just very irritating, looking back and seeing a puff of blue smoke, like its not a civic lol

I know the feeling very well, I went through that. Now, it's just black smoke, from my car running so rich. I have to admit, the flames are cool though, haha.

Turbo engines DON'T have flame trap,so...that part isn't the same.

Been reading a lot about the oil and flame traps and have seen some conflicting info.

1: Does a N/A '98 S70 have a flame trap?

2: I have no oil cap oil or smoke from my dipstick, do I need to do the PCV? If I dom do all the parts need to be swapped or just cleaned?

1. not sure but if it does just throw it away

2. yes, if you are going in under the manifold replace all of that stuff and buy Volvo brand for this, the aftermarket hoses get brittle and crack.

oh sorry for 2.) you don't necessarily need to, I'm just saying if you do it then yes replace do not clean.
