Guest colbys70
I have a Volvo S70 1999 and I live in York Pa. Ive been putting water in the coolant tank about every other day after i drive it. It seems to be going somewhere but i cant figure out where. It not leaking from below but i think it might be coming out my exhaust. Then about a week ago i was driving it and i parked but when i went to go start it again it would not start. So after i tried it again a couple more times it finally started but the engine was reeving up like i was pressing on the pedal but i wasn't. Then i pressed on the pedal for a little then it stopped then i drove it home. Now it would start so i cant drive it.I'm looking to figure what going on and trying to get it repaired. I already took it to the Volvo dealership in Machanicsburg awhile back but they never fixed the problem. So could someone please get back to me about this i would really appreciate it. TxS70
sounds like you've got water leaking into the engine either from a bad head gasket or a cracked head. Correct me if Im wrong. If you think it's coming out of your exhaust, you've got water in the engine. pull your spark plugs and take a look at them and into the holes. A friend's civic was so bad that I could see coolant in the cylinder.
