stephie
I am installing a new audio system in my car (2 12 inch subs, amp, head unit) This is the head unit I am looking at: J&R Just wondering if anyone knew whether this will will fit in my 2000 c70 coupe..will it be a direct fit? or will I need a dash kit? It is a double din, so I am hoping it will fit right on.
Chilled man
should be a direct fit . Make sure to get he trim kit and cage also. You will have to trim down the side rails in the dash so the dual din fits since volvo is Tech a single din x2 just take a dremel and trim down the side bars and you will be golden . In my 98C70T5M Not the same car but you get the idea and make sure to get or it comes with the cage

Nothing wrong with that at all - it's all those butt splices! Maybe it's just me, but I hate those things, they always seem to go intermittent. That being said, I highly prefer soldering :)
beadgc23
If it's going to be permanent, solder it. If it's a temporary test connection, use a terminal block. Butt splices are neither one thing nor the other, but, like zip ties they kinda get the job done. Hrumph.
