She's gets mad at me one day cause I wouldn't detail her car like I did mine. I said I didn't have time to do both. I get mad cause she wouldn't leave me alone about it and I said something on the lines of "I can blow your car away anyday!" She smiled and sarcasticly nodded her head, not believing that was possible. Even with all the stuff I got on my car, do I stand a chance?Thanks, PEACE! patrick Posted November 22, 2004 Report Share Posted November 22, 2004 yea those things can be peppy, the v6's ran about 8 flat 0-60, slightly faster than you probably, they were all autos. the 4cyls w/ 5spd are about like ours, if you shift really well and have a manual keeping up w/ the 6 is possible. I ran against a V6 coupe 2001 when my car was bone stock and I pulled one foot at a time against them all the way to 100mph. by the 100, I had 3/4 car length on them. patrick Posted November 22, 2004 Report Share Posted November 22, 2004 like i said v6 00 accords are a bit faster than a well running slightly modded NA, assuming your car is running well. my ex girlfriends roommate had a 99 or 00 2dr 5spd 4cyl and i could consistently beat him, he wasnt a slow shifter, my car was a bit younger then, but didnt have a few of the mods...nto that theyre really going to make a huge difference at all. he would pull away a little in 2nd gear, but the shift gets em every time. never had a chance to accell against a v6. most of you guys have never even driven an NA 850, dont dog us so much, we arent as fast as you but im tired of the 'cant even give us the time of day' attitude around here, you dont see that on any of the other forums for other cars, theres always somebody faster. if i wanted a car to go quickly in a striaght line i realize mine is not the answer. although by no means do i consider my car slow in the least, it has its moments wher it shines. thank you Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
