True Swede
I had a friend help me change the rear cam seals on my -98 T5 this past weekend. Now it has a tendency getting close to stalling the first couple of times I come to a stop. RPM goes down to ~500 and then struggles to keep the engine running before it rebounds to normal RPMs. I'd say this is the case for about the first five minutes until the engine warms up, after that no problem. It also died completely on me once, even though it was warm, while sitting at a stop light. I had to crank the engine close to ten times before it would come alive. This happened three days ago, and has not happened again. On a more positive note my car pulls stronger than ever after this weekend, probably due to switching back to the MAF that used to be on the car .
