98T5M Ecu Good For T5 R 850 With Manual Swap?

Would work for any year manual-swapped 85x T5/R (94-97)?

Yes, the AC is of no concern and will be deleted.

Would like to hear from those who dunnit, and what year of 85x, if T5 or R. Thnx.

You can make it work but as mentioned a proper M4.3 tune is the better way to go.

Downside to programming a M4.3 to a manual is you'll lose OBDII function, since there was never a Turbo 850 manaul in the states the way I do it is to flash the ECU with a base Euro map which didn't have OBDII but did come with manual trans. PM me if you need some more info about a manual tuned ECU.

So is there no way to have an OBD2 850 Manual ECU? I mean..i know its no big deal, i'm used to flashing lights and the reader...but the reader makes life alot easier LOL
