It's much the same as the reading light panel plug, IIRC. far from finding a plug, I've never managed to even find reference to anything that plugs into that connector. I'm guessing it was there for some obscure reason in the beginning and then just left in for legacy reasons (kinda like the firewall passthru in my 97 glt, it's 100% unused).
