fasts60r
Some of you may know this, some of you may not but I acquired a second Volvo. No, not the blue VR that is still torn apart in our garage (more on that when the time is right), but a 2000 Cross Country. It was pretty much an awesome deal on a one-owner, local car and I enjoy it a lot. The only thing was, it was really ummm...maternal if that makes sense. 189 White over 3960 tan does not a masculine car make. Anyhow, it needs window tint badly but for now I thought I would post some pics as I think it's ready. I haven't done a lot since I have had it, other than maintain it and fix a problem here or there...it was well cared for I believe. Anyhow, I did add a wagon wing, all season mats, hid's, dual V70 R exhausts, sc 901 and amp, ipd springs in the front, v70r springs in the back with bolts from home depot, clear corner lights, and a euro plate. Oh, and 17 inch pegs. Other than that, nothing else. It's slow, but I don't care. I can't afford/desire to modify two Volvos for speed. This one was going to be left stock, but I couldn't...I wanted to make it my own. So, without further introduction, here it is...yes, pegs are played, but fire away I don't care, lol. I welcome your thoughts as well. Everyone has seen this... Now the other one... Sorry for the crappy black berry pics.

(n)A-GAME
Looks great. Love the stance and the mods are really tasteful. Maybe you want to do what Rod did and take off the "cross country" banner at the back? But I disagree with your assessment that 189 on 3960 is "maternal." Black Betty
My mother drove a 189 white 850 on 3960 for 11 years. So i agree maternal lol. Both cars look great. Have you ever though of color matching the trim?

fasts60r
Yeah no color matching of the trim I don't think...I don't really want to put any more money into it except fix little things as they occur, maintain it, window tint and e codes...other than that, I think that's about all she wrote for it. I would rather put money toward the R. It really is a great DD...the gas mileage is nothing to get excited about is the only thing. But, it's a big, heavy, awd wagon...for what it is, it's fine. I got a stare for the first time ever in it tonight by a cobalt ss. I decided not to unleash the burden of 190 screaming horses on him and let him go on his way...haha! Thanks for the input! My only thought at this point is maybe should I have done comets? Oh well, that can always be addressed later.

DelawareT5M
I've seen this car in person in the middle of 100,000 people and spotted Mike as the driver. I think I should win an award for that, but anyway, this car is damn clean and looks spectacular in person!
