I just got finished installing a NOS Pro Shot fogger system to the wagon. Haven't had a chance to make any runs with it to see if my times changed.

Nah, I'm sure your times and trap speeds will stay exactly the same as they were BEFORE the nitrous.

PS - See my post about the guy near me with the GLT engine for sale. You'll need one soon.

PPS - Kidding. Sorta. B)

I've seen this come up a few times, not sure why everyone's losing their shit. Props for doing it, the install looks great. I've seen pictures on here of someone toasting his pistons with nitrous, but I've also read about people running it successfully. Sounds like you've got the approach right too...start small. I definitely look forward to your results. If my car wasn't a daily driver I'd love to try a nitrous setup, but I'm content to watch your progress instead. :D

ben (torquesteer) has put a 100 shot through his 850 with no problems... this should be ok if done right.

And that was a single nozzle, direct shot. With the fogger setup and a progressive solenoid driver, it should handle a 100hp shot a few times at the strip, and it WILL handle 75hp shots pretty much anytime.

I always ran with a fatter fuel jet though, my 100 shot read 10.8 AFR. 75 shots were about 11.2.

Be sure to turn down the boost with anything over a 50 shot. The sudden increase of exhaust gasses will not be able to flow through the small td04 turbo housing, thus causing a 5-8 psi surge in boost while spraying.

In addition to an arming switch and WOT switch, I also used an RPM window switch from 3500-5900rpm.

Honestly I'm excited to see how this turns out, it seems like you have some NOS experience and know your way around so not some stupid attempt. Post some videos and details on how everything turns out for you. Even if it doesn't work, the opportunity to rebuild the engine and re-NOS it would be worth it IMHO.

Agreed B)

So hurry and lets see some action :D

Awesome! Nice install, the direct port will give you a lot of tuning possibilities.

I have always thought a naturally aspirated 850 with a nice direct port setup could exceed what the chipped turbo cars are capable of...

So, are you going to spray off the line with the AWD?

Sure!

While your bottle is still full, and assuming the engine stays together, you could make 300-350hp for a short while.

When your bottle runs out you're getting spanked by little old ladies in stock 960's, and when your engine goes you're only as fast as the flatbed towing you home.
