Haven't had a chance to make any runs with it to see if my times changed. Nah, I'm sure your times and trap speeds will stay exactly the same as they were BEFORE the nitrous. I've seen pictures on here of someone toasting his pistons with nitrous, but I've also read about people running it successfully. Sounds like you've got the approach right too...start small. I definitely look forward to your results. And that was a single nozzle, direct shot. With the fogger setup and a progressive solenoid driver, it should handle a 100hp shot a few times at the strip, and it WILL handle 75hp shots pretty much anytime. I always ran with a fatter fuel jet though, my 100 shot read 10.8 AFR. 75 shots were about 11.2. Be sure to turn down the boost with anything over a 50 shot. The sudden increase of exhaust gasses will not be able to flow through the small td04 turbo housing, thus causing a 5-8 psi surge in boost while spraying. In addition to an arming switch and WOT switch, I also used an RPM window switch from 3500-5900rpm. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Post some videos and details on how everything turns out for you. Even if it doesn't work, the opportunity to rebuild the engine and re-NOS it would be worth it IMHO. I have always thought a naturally aspirated 850 with a nice direct port setup could exceed what the chipped turbo cars are capable of... While your bottle is still full, and assuming the engine stays together, you could make 300-350hp for a short while.
