Aequitas_Veritas
I put an HID kit on my moms car for christmas last year and even though at first she didnt have any idea what it was and had no idea why she would want it, I can't count the number of times she has thanked me for the extra light. She loves it so much more then before. In fact, after I got my mom the kit and my dad drove her car he decided that he needed HIDs as well. Then my brother drove the car and he needed them too. So now my entire family has HID kits in every single one of our cars. This is a great upgrade for family members, even the ones that have NO idea what they do. geokilla
Um might be a bit of threadjacking, but how good are aftermarket HIDs compared to OEM? I've heard people say that aftermarket HIDs are not recommended because they can blind oncoming traffic.
leurven
The blinding of oncoming traffic isn't down to the HID kit itself. Ours are essentially the same as OEM. The blinding comes from very poorly aimed headlights and an attempt to use an HID kit in a headlight never designed for it. Most headlights will handle HIDs just fine and be able to be aimed just fine too. I've never heard of issues on any Volvos. So you could take our kit and an OEM one (even though an OEM one won't fit in your S70) and they would both have the same results. Ours are actually said to be a little brighter. scandalo
John can we cut a deal for just the slim ballasts? My cheap replacement blew out and I want to contain the entire assembly in the ABM housing.
leurven
I don't get good pricing on just ballasts. The price just for one ballast shipped within the US is $40 and for two it is $65.
