randomdude
you dont necessarily need to go full custom, but it would be a huge plus since your running the N2O. should help both performance, and safety.
T5shortblock
OK, is it a waste of time and money to get a tune for the lpt if its gonna be short lived anyway? Im sure Ill get a 2.3 next, is the tune gonna work for a 2.3? Or should I just use my super cool mbc and hold it back to 10 psi and live with it till I kill the dreaded 2.5 lpt I talked to the guy at inmotion. He has a "basic" tune for 250 and a custom tune for ~650. will the cheaper one work or do i NEED to go custom. I know it would be better nut do I NEED to? I think if you lay of the nitrous and have a good tune for the boost you want, your LPT could last longer than you think, with these fuel/boost cuts you are getting, your running 10 psi, but your not making power like 10psi would if it was working properly. I really think you would enjoy the car alot more with a good tune Since the tune is not mated to the car, you can always part the car and re-sell the tune to someone else if/when the car dies. yup
