jnderr Posted November 10, 2009 Report Share Posted November 10, 2009 I have an odd noise in my V70, it seems to be coming from somewhere on the passenger side from behind the headlight area. It sounds like a motor/pump of some sort is running. It starts as soon as I put the key in and turn it to the accessory position, happens when the car is on too. Does not change when the car is running. Car runs and drive as normal no cel or anything. Occurs regardless of what is turned on in the car. Just started last night. My V70 T5 has the same oddness I just noticed it for the first time a couple of weeks ago, but I will hear it prior to starting and while in P, before turning it off. I tried to listen for it standing OUTSIDE of the car, but if it is audible from outside, you'll never hear it over the engine. Frankly, Im not all that concerned, I have just added it to my monsterous list of, *eghem*, "Quirks" that these vehicles have. Wait a minute! I just had a thought. . .
