damitzmike
My drivers side headlight wont turn on. I thought it might of been my HID ballast because I had removed it earlier today, so I checked all the connections and it still wont turn on. I then disconnected the hid ballast and tried using a regular 9006 bulb and that didnt work either. I then noticed the rubber on the wires for the connector had crumbled off and both ends of bulb wires were wrapped around one another, I proceeded to seperate the 2 side of the wire and wrap electrical tape around them both so they wouldnt touch. I still can not get the drivers side low beams to light up high beams still work on both sides. anyone got a clue?
HtownTurboBrick
the wires shorted out, check the fuse for the low beam driver side light. worst case scenario you fried that harness and will need to replace it, but i doubt it. however you might want to try out the HID on the working side too to confirm that it still works cuz you may have shorted the ballast on that too. FCP Euro
If it is not the fuse, you probably fried the HID ballast.
