Chow
I was just wonder if anybody has install a magnaflow muffler??? I've had them on my other cars and love the sound. Does anybody know what part number it might be?
rbodor3
any part number you want. Just mix/match the ones you like. I went with a natural finish SS 6x20" core sized straight thru muffler, 2 of them by magnaflow. Just search thru magnaflow's web site or check summit racing or similar
pcguru000
I have a magnaflow on my car (according to the previous owner who put $1k into the exhaust work...) 3" cat back... it sounds like a beast... low rumble.. however it can be annoying for people in the back seat on a long trip (granted i dont take long trips in this car anymore but). Ill see about getting a recording of it sometime.

The reactive or baffled mufflers tend to have more back pressure but are significantly quieter, harder to fit in the exhaust system IMO. Of course these are generalizations. A well designed muffler will give you whatever you want, but you definitely pay the $$$

mune237
I have MagnaFlow products on everything I drive. I used to get them thru Summit, but on the Silverado I went with MagnaFlowPlanet.com Same price but they had them in stock, where as Summit was backordered on most items. Shipping was cheaper too. In fact I'll be buying some pieces next week.
matt b
will it fit a glt? All stock turbo exhausts from Volvo have the same size. If it fits a T5, it fits a GLT.
