ozzimark
I'm working on a new oval exhaust design for P2 cars since clearance becomes an issue at the rear subframe. First article should be here in a month or so, then production pieces here a month or two after that! Curious, I was under the impression that the P2 cars could fit 3" pipes to the back without a problem.. Maybe I'm thinking of the AWD, since it has a different rear suspension Where are you making the pipe oval, and for how long? But aside fromt hat, good to hear that you're working on an exhaust for the P2 as well, I know someone who would definitely consider getting one B)
Ipd
Clearance isn't terrible until you start lowering the car, even a little. AWD and FWD clearance at the rear subframe is the same though.

Ipd
The downpipe in question is made in this continent for one, but recall the DP is without CAT so that reduces costs a bit as well. Don't confuse the downpipe as something you can simply purchase and install. It is intended for our turbo back kit as a whole. You could fab it in of course but you'd need a cat to go with it and some custom work to install it to a factory system.
swc75
I'm working on a new oval exhaust design for P2 cars since clearance becomes an issue at the rear subframe. First article should be here in a month or so, then production pieces here a month or two after that! Can you please clarify; can the down pipe and cat be fitted to the P2?, on the exhaust system you have ready now? Thanks PS Will you ever have IPD springs for the P2 like you have for the P1? Thanks again.
Ipd
The current turboback kit is not compatible with the P2 cars at all. I'm working on a completely new exhaust system for those cars. Probably available sometime toward the beginning of 2010. As for springs, it's on the list but have a few things to finish up first before we tackle that. v4lve
On the dp, why the dramatic change in pricing? OBX :P
Wagoneer855
I think everyone is forgetting that the original iPd downpipe was a complete piece up to where it meets the cat-back. Meaning, there's the downpipe (the "S"), the cat, and also the midpipe back to the cat-back. The iPd downpipe is just like the OBX one where it's just the "S" and the flexpipe and that's it, no midpipe or cat. I'm happy iPd is doing stuff like this now, finally listening to us after realizing we are their market Just kidding lucky, you've always been great with special group-buys etc. just to get us the parts we want.
