dougy
OBX comes with straight and angle flange shipped to my door 350$ if you cant get a deal add 100$ stainless 200 cell race cat to my door 110$ cat welded in place 20$ sell one of the DP new -150$ TOTAL for OBX complete exhaust 330$ Also where is IPD's made? Same place as OBX. Got to do better than 895$ not 330$ but better than 10% 995$.

Your talking yugo compared to porsche on this. Sound is much much nicer not so rattly either. Also IPD is not made by Obx , I forget who its made by but its stamped right on the pipe where the cat is in. If you want bolt and go and tried and proven peice of equipment go with the IPD set. If you want to weld cut and fab a bunch of stuff go OBX That simple but there is no compersion in quailty of the two. hey, that's my plan! sounds/looks awesome. how long did it take? hardest part is getting the SAS pipe off the stock exhuast my susggestion would be to order a new one of those and plan on new o2 sensors also due to both are probally rusted in . other then that 1-2hrs start to finish Does this system have an SAS bung too? yes you can see it right behind the flange of the DP
dougy
Quality difference is amazing first off , second its fitment this goes right together. ***Ipd developed their product with OBX’s in their hands…easier to develop something that someone has already made and fix flaws…though I am not sure moving the DP up and down not to touch under panel tray and using washers to space out I would call amazing…it is the same flaw as OBX…As far the fitment of OBX…”HERE IS THE SECRET with OBX” When or if installing the race cat take an inch off that straight pipe in overall length, another words you should make the straight pipe an inch shorter in overall length, tip will move back as inch as well…ohh, as for the OBD II rear O2 sensor cell code…use 200cell race cat like Ipd did and if you don’t want to use a cat. converter, get 2 or 3 spark plug foulers find a steel plug and place it at the first fouler and space out the O2 sensor and you will not get a code…I prefer the 200 cell cat. it is legal Your talking yugo compared to porsche on this. ***Please, the exhaust is the same size / weight … more like in present time buying Honda Accord and Hyundai Sonata and paying for Honda for 27k or Hyundai for 10k…don’t get me wrong Honda is still better…but not Yugoslavian Yugo without air-condition to Germans #1 sports car Porsche analogy…I would be willing to try fully loaded V6 Sonata for 10k brand new… Sound is much much nicer not so rattly either. *** I am not sure about that. Also IPD is not made by Obx , I forget who its made by but its stamped right on the pipe where the cat is in. ***Never said OBX made IPD. They both are made overseas…imported to US. Most likely CHINA/ Taiwan. If you want bolt and go and tried and proven peice of equipment go with the IPD set. ***If you would like to say I Paid triple by all means. If you want to weld cut and fab a bunch of stuff go OBX. ***If you are willing to cut an inch to save 550$ than give it a try…if not, you will get a good exhaust as well for 900$ with Ipd. That simple but there is no compersion in quailty of the two. ***Like I said Honda or Hyundai in 2009…not 1990. I would like to say "I love IPD"…Best Volvo after-market products in the US..hands down…but if I am going to say I Paid Double than 650$ to my door for Ipd exhaust would be fair…that's all I am saying
Colbert
 thats it Quality difference is amazing first off , second its fitment this goes right together. If you want to weld cut and fab a bunch of stuff go OBX That simple but there is no compersion in quailty of the two. Here is the facts, I have the OBX exhaust, and I found that Ipd provide exactly the same turbo back. I mean same shape, same number of parts ... Obviously this is the same design, flow, ... I don't have SAS on my car, and the OBX fit perfectly on my 855 (after a turbine housing swap), the tip comes very well. It has the same shape, same hangers so I'don't understand why it will fit better ? About rattle, Lucky sayed to not reuse that "safety steel plate" under the exhaust, because of a bigger diameter it may cause noise here. But, It's important to notice that, with the Ipd system, you got a cat, the SAS pipe, and a round tip ( ), also, it's reported to be SS T-409 instead of SS T-304 for OBX one. So, don't do such comparison, none is better than the other, it's just about what you can afford.
Chilled man
Ok douches . I have installed both riden in cars with both . So your options mean abosoutle dick. So when you two noobs can acutally say you handled both installed both come back and acutally open you mouths when you actaully have something to compare As usual here My Knowledge > yours Also IPD tried to work with OBX but OBX couldnt get the quality to there standards either. You would think I dont know anything about volvos here or the aftermarket suppliers or anythhing

Colbert
Ok douches . Bla bla As usual here My Knowledge > yours bla bla No offense to your knowledge, your explanations above don't show any relevant fact to compare that two exhaust. So instead of saying I R > you and I own the truth, just IPD > OBX and believe me, won't make thing move forward and turn into a fight thread. I have installed 4 OBX and 1 IPD. by my self unlike you.Oh, happy thanks giving and just Chill a bit man. I dont have to be professional I am just stating a simple fact. IPD Exhuast , Fitment quality everything > OBX that simple if you so called installed those 4 and one 1 ipd you would see , feel and know the diffeerence. That all being said I have the OBX Dp for my 98R and have the rest made in Custom SS for the dual exhuast. And for my XC will be using the IPD DP and custom making the rest for my P2 XC-M
