mojojo
I'm having trouble viewing the forum pages. Nearly every (~99%) of the threads I try to read get jumbled in a fashion that the words fall vertically (as opposed to horizontally like my post is typing), and the pages end up being huge and I have to scroll forever to get to the bottom. As well, pictures are missing and details of posts are missing/don't make sense. I have this problem on at least five different PCs I try to use and setups range from all kinds of OS'es and browsers. I'm currently using Vista 64 and IE 8 (I believe whatever shiped with Vista last year). Any help? Thanks
Fudge_Brownie
http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=forums Try topic display mode set to Standard (drop down box near the bottom of the tab) I suspect that won't fix it though, as another member reported a similar problem recently and said that wasn't it. Can I get a screen shot of the problem? Press the Print Screen key, open up MSPaint and do a paste (ctrl-v). Save, to the gallery here and link us. Need any help, PM me. mojojo
Here's a screen shot of the problem. Notice how long the page is by the scroll bar, and how th user description is overlayed. As well, in threads with lots of pictures, some pictures (usually anything after the first) are missing. mojojo
As a band aid this may fix the problem, I'm sure... but I really, really, prefer to stick with IE. So is it that VS is not compatible with IE? I've found one PC that uses IE 7 and XP Home that never has this issue. I don't think I'm going to revert or try to use different software for just this site... I don't want to come off like a deusch, so please, no one take this personal. The important thing here is to confirm that your install of IE is the source of the problem. If the problem occurs in FF as well, then we know IE is not the issue. It will also provide temporary fix while we brain storm.
