silversleeves
It has been raining an outrageous amount around here lately and one of my fog lamps has half filled up with water. It is still functioning but I wonder if anyone could help with directions on how to drain this thing? Maybe I will have to completely remove it, drain it, and reinstall it? Thanks, J. Thanks, J. it would probably be safest to unplug and unbolt it and take it out of the car. then you can drain it, take it apart, and clean it out before you reinstall it. i am pretty sure there is supposed to be a drainage hole. make sure it's not blocked. there is a rubber "T" shaped drain that hangs off the bottom of the housing on my fog lights. silversleeves
Got under the car to get a look and saw that someone (wife) had most possibly parked against something and bent the support bracket thus causing very slow drainage of a blocked rubber drain. Have got it sorted now, thanks again.
