Naughty33W
make sure to take some good pics and possibly a couple different sound clips. and one question, what kind of gaskets if any, will i need for this DP install? pictures will be done as follows : closeup pics of entire downpipe , side by side comparison with oem downpipe , pictures of complete install sound clips i can do but they likely wont be what you want - i run open downpipe , meaning : after my catless downpipe there is NOTHING - lol - i can get them but they are likely going to be too loud for the microphone to handle hahahaha - oh good question - rbod , is it a mechanical fit like the oem or will it require a gasket ? i guess if it does i can just run to autozone and buy a universal exhaust gasket and cut it to match
rbodor3
I'm doing a writeup to accompany the downpipes with details on install (as we speak actually). The downpipe flanges I'm receiving will have a mechanical gasket like the OEM joint is done. Personally I still installed a metal gasket, it's your option. Part #8642449, and will run $3.50 @ FCP. rbodor3
The down pipes are on hold for another month probably. I have a good mock up, and materials to make about 2 more down pipes, but I want to get a test fit completed on a nearly stock S60 before I start shipping and selling to everybody. I don't want to sell something I can't back up basically. Unfortunately all the people I've contacted to test fit have had hang-ups of some sort. In order to keep the price at $300 I'm having to delay the project until one of them can get back to me with a favorable update. I'll update here when that happens!
