brr2f Posted November 26, 2004 Report Share Posted November 26, 2004 I'm confused about my rear deck speakers in my '94 850 turbo, i want to replace them and measured the square hole at 5"x8", but I heard that a 6x9 will easily fit...is that after I do some minor cutting? also I heard that the factory speakers run at 8 ohms, most 6x9's are 4ohms correct? is this a big problem or can it be fixed easily? and how?I must stick with my factory reciever by the way. I can only afford the speakers as I have busted every one in the car.Thanks to all for thier insight on the dash tweeters by the way, you all are very cool for helping out.
