I've talked to HPT in the past about the matter, I explained to him about how Derrick has been busy with school and such and rarely even comes on here anymore. Sure: I posted in one of Justin's car parting threads about looking for an alternator. Derrick messaged me and said he could sell me one for $50. I sent paypal right away after confirming he had one that would fit my 850. He sent me a PM on 10/29 saying "will ship it tomorrow afternoon. ". Some time goes by, but I think "no big deal. maybe he sent it USPS and they're slower that an NA with a vacuum leak." As my car is getting harder to start, I sent him another message on 11/18 saying: Hey Did you ever send this out? I still haven't seen it No animosity or anything. I just wanted a status update. No word back from that, or the email I sent him, and I added him on AIM, which I haven't seen him on that either. Basically any contact information he has posted. I did contact greekone because they're supposedly friends and live pretty close. He said he would see what was up, but Derrick was "busy with school." No word back from that, so I put in a paypal claim. He didn't respond to that, so I escalated it on 12/5, and now I'm hearing other people got screwed. I'll let them chime in here if they want. tl;dr I gave DHV70 $50 and got nothing and haven't heard back from him since about 1.5 months ago. He already did. I have three jobs and I'm going to school. I still find time to contact vendors for customers and coordinate day-to-day stuff. If he told me 3 weeks in, "oh sorry, I didn't get around to it," it wouldn't be as bad. But I have literally heard nothing from him since October. He and I dropped 500 dollars into parts and he took nearly a month to ship them after we paid. He had long periods of time when he would not answer our questions (10-12 days being the longest) even when I had seen that he had visited the board. On top of that when we received our shipment several requested items weren't there. I will say he had the balls to ship me his bumper so that has to account for something.
