Not too worried about the interior. or exterior. lol $400 and drove it home! after sparkplug change it's running like a champ. Just need to do valve adjustment when I get some more parts in the mail. mdlimy Posted December 23, 2009 Report Share Posted December 23, 2009 woah woahhhhh didnt notice it before but...suede recaros?! im really not too partial to the m10 motors, not a bad motor but i would probally atleast swap an m20b25, any plans for suspension? i honestly can say an e30 with swaybars and springs is one of the most fun cars i have ever driven. shanehutton Posted December 23, 2009 Report Share Posted December 23, 2009 You are probably going to want to swap that motor. The later 318 with the M40 was decent but I think you will want to start looking for a really cheap M20 or even an M50 as they are a dime a dozen. Either motor will be a far better match for that chassis than the 8v 4cyl. The other thing that will be a great addition to the car for not much money is a rear diff out of a 325is (there is a 3.73 or a 4.10 that had LSD) One of my good friends used to race an E30 with an M20 and it was a great car and very reliable.
