thewhiteguy1 Posted December 31, 2009 Report Share Posted December 31, 2009 so i was going to a local meet today. just got my front left wheel unbent and i put it back on so i had 4 matching wheels. go to pick up my friend from his house. after we leave his house, i hear a weird clunking. i get to the first meet spot with a couple locals. i get a flashlight, checked endlinks, cv joints, axles and nothing. still decide to drive to the meet with the the clunking. i get almost to the meet and at a set of lights, i stop, light turns green i go, front left wheel comes clean off. sitting in the middle of a 3 lane rd. try to jack up my car with the stock jack on a slight incline = fail. the jack collapsed while trying to put the donut on with the 3 lugnuts we found causing the donut to go partially flat. quick call to my dad who comes with my stock columbas and my other lug bolts. get to the meet an hour late. on the way home, we take the beltway. i change lanes right into a set of potholes. this is the front wheel: back one: the wheel well is busted in the front left. you can see the crack: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

thewhiteguy1 Posted December 31, 2009 Author Report Share Posted December 31, 2009 eric will fix that, no biggie... i'd love to get it fixed, but the lugnuts that come with the wheels are smaller then the volvo chrome ones, so the wheels will not be snug they will wobble. and i lost one lugnuts and two are stripped to hell. i am not stupid enough to roll around on 3 lugnuts :P Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
