Tom.
was driving today and i hit the brake and the pedal was so hard to push. i could barly stop the car and i had to drive like 30 minutes home. car is about due for new brake pads. its freezing here but it locked up after like 20 minutes of driving... frozen caliper might be a possibility. anything else? scandalo
Sounds like the master cylinder is failing. Bleed the brakes and see if that helps. Even if it doesn't fix it you should get an idea of what is going on while doing it.
Tom.
all fixed! the vacuum line on the car going to the master cylinder has a Y split in it and a joint fail and broke on it so it wasnt getting any pressure. temp fix was hot glue and duct tape i dont want to drive on that but tommarow ill go get a replacement part :)
