The Golden Anvil Posted January 3, 2010 Report Share Posted January 3, 2010 Hello to all and Happy New Year. I've been having problems with the squirters on the Volvo. Can anyone provide me with a diagram of the routing of the hose for the rear glass as I'd like to try using compressed air to try and clean it out. An old mechanic once told me, "Everything works better after a blow job". Me, I can usually use a nap but it worked on the old car and I'm hoping it will work here. 855 Posted January 3, 2010 Report Share Posted January 3, 2010 Open the rear most storage lid on the hatch floor. Pry up on the floor panel to the right. You will see a hose running alongside the floor. It should be evident if it is disconnected there as the hatch floor will be filled with washer fluid from pushing the button. the commissar! Posted January 4, 2010 Report Share Posted January 4, 2010 Near/on the filler tube there are two tubes that are open to the engine bay. Follow those down ~ 6 inches and one has a T fitting. The T is where the line mentioned above connects so it is another good place for a blow job to start. It runs the length of the car as hard pipe and has tubing on each end. Let me know how it works, I might be inspired to improve my trickel!
