Matty Moo
For non-tracs models. Part number 9140773. All pins resoldered properly, not just the cracked ones. I split the case properly, no cutting or butchering of any kind and resealed with silicone. $40 shipped, you ship me back your faulty unit after you receive your new one. No down time for you. I've been seeing a need for something like this. All the places want around $100 for an advance exchange, and others want $35 and up for you to send yours in and wait. You really can't drive around without a module. Not only do you risk screwing things up, but you have no speedo either. Not everybody wants to repair their own either. The case can be a bitch to get open, even with the right tools. Not everybody is comfy with soldering either. It's not rocket science, just a bunch of pins that were originally cold soldered and cracked over time. I reflow all the pins and add a touch extra. I've been looking into this for awhile. For the work involved, I don't think what others are charging is exactly reasonable. It's a half hour or less of work.
