Anvar
Ok, so today I was driving when suddenly my radio stoped working. Unit was working, but no sound from any source (CD or FM). I decided to unplug the radio and plug it again, so all I got was an "Off" message with little E in the right lower corner of the display (I think E stands for error, maybe). Standard procedure of leaving the key in position 1 for 2-3 hours with radio on did not do anything, still same message appears when I turn on the unit. Can I do something about it, or should I start looking for new SC-816 unit? THANKS!!
mrtl321
have you tried putting in the security code to see if that would do anything?
Anvar
yes I tried, nothing happens. If I can't fix it I will go for http://cgi.ebay.ca/NEW-PANASONIC-DOUBLE-DIN-CAR-CD-MP3-IPOD-XM-USB-PLAYER_W0QQitemZ300350877812QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCar_Audio_In_Dash_Receivers?hash=item45ee4eb074 instead of new SC-816 and aux input through changer. I simply need cheap aux solution at this point (unless I can fix my radio of course)
Anvar
Nevermind, it works now for some reason, with no code required. Could someone tell me what is the cheap aux input solution do I have. I had an idea of connecting soldering the aux to the tape input inside the radio, does anyone have some sort of diagram for this unit?
