Help With Radiator Install

I decided I would try and put in the radiator myself on my 93 850 GLT. After I had disconnected all the hoses, and removed most of the bolts, I was ready to remove the last two remaining bolts that connect the radiator to the frame.

I started to loosen them, and they became considerably tough to turn. I grabbed some leverage, and slowly applied pressure. After a few turns, the bolt broke loose, and I continued to remove it. After several cranks, I noticed that my bolt was going nowhere. I figured I had stripped it, and I was screwed (no pun intended). I checked to see if there was a nut on the other side of the bolt, and sure enough, there was - the only problem was that it was a round piece of metal, no sides, connected to the bolt. Puzzled, I grabbed a lockwrench, and fastened it to the piece. I again tryed loosening the bolt, but no dice. Is my bolt really stripped, or is there something else I can do? I might have to resort to sawing the plastic pieces right off - but even then I'm stuck with bolts fastened to the frame. What do I do?!

I recommend putting the locking pliers on the 'rounded' nut, then try to 'tighten' the bolt a little, spray it with penetrating oil and work the bolt back and forth (lossen, tighten, loosen, tighten) and spray more penetrating oil. That should get the oil between the teeth on the bolt and the nut. Let it sit for a couple of hours and then try to muscle that nut off.

also, try using a small butane torch to heat things up a little bit... that always helps me when things are frozen/rusted/fubar. :)
