Sam
yeah, the horn works fine, and the red led flashes when it's locked. I set it off one day - ulocked the car with the window open, and it apparently went off but only made a clicking sound (relay?). I had to unlock it to get it to stop. I think the lights flash, i'll check this evening to be sure. Perhaps a wire is loose somewhere or something is disconnected?
MrWinkey
If the light's are flashing the clicking noise you hear is the relay activating them ...as for the horn not working.. the security system has it's own horn it may just be disconnected, I'm sure the starter kill is still active
Bay13
The horn for the alarm system is in the engine bay, center on the fire wall. There is a nut that holds part of the vibration plate in place, sometimes it falls off and the plate as well so the alarm horn doesn't work. Or The thing needs adjusting so it can vibrate. Look at the center there is a screw to adjust the tension on the diaphram. Give the horn a constant 12V from your battery and ajust the screw until the horn/alarm works.
