bill d cat
My clutch pedal cover has become worn flat and slippery -- are replacement rubber covers for the clutch and brake pedal available? I've tried the usual suspects like FCP Groton and looked on IPD's website and couldn't find anything. Fleabay seems to list mostly used pedal assemblies which would probably be overkill since the covers look like they are removable. Thanks!
Oreo931
Call Darrell Waltrip Volvo. I got mine for ~$9 a piece new.
Dave 54
FCP brake pedal pad http://www.fcpgroton.com/product-exec/product_id/30494/nm/Volvo+V70+Brake+Pedal+Pad-Manual+Transmissions Can't find the clutch pad, if you call FCP i'm sure they have it's just not listed. I checked them Eeuroparts , vlvworld, and ebay and not really finding much for you.
bill d cat
Call Darrell Waltrip Volvo. I got mine for ~$9 a piece new. Volvo does sell the rubber pedal covers separate from the pedal assembly? Good! Thanks!
bill d cat
The pedal covers arrived at the dealer today and took maybe 1 minute each to install. I soaked them in hot water for a few minutes and they slipped right on. Cost was $23.07 for the pair with the VCOA discount including sales tax. No more foot sliding off the clutch pedal at the stoplight! I am very happy! Thanks!
FCP Euro
Nice to see you have it all fixed. I hate it when the rubber wears down like yours did. I am thinking of getting the heico pedal covers for my SR so that I don't have to worry about it.
Patdon10
It's also good to here you got the oem one. From what i've heard, all of the aftermarket ones wear out in less than a year. They virtually fall apart.
