At 50% ipod volume distortion. My theory is that the tap deck is not made to handle that kind of power. I hope this can help others. bdimag Posted February 9, 2010 Report Share Posted February 9, 2010 My theory is that the tap deck is not made to handle that kind of power. correct... line level (constant low voltage) vs speaker level (varying voltages, low/high)... if you had the actual ipod adapter with a line out (versus using the 1/4" headphone jack), it would be that constant low voltage signal...
