Lpt 2.4L - Performance Limitations?

I'm looking at a Canadian AWD 5 speed 850. My understanding is that it is a LPT car with the 13T and no intercooler.

If one had an 850R for parts, what would be the concerns of installing the intercooler, ECU and turbo from an R into the AWD 850?

Or a 16T with a tuned R ECU? Are there concerns with forcing more power into the 2.4L. Would there be a low end torque benefit to the increased displacement?

I have run 19 pounds of boost with a k24.

Stock intercooler, water injection was not on the car at the time. Ambient was around 30f.

Timing was too far advanced. (Turbo tuner "tuned" map)

The compression isn't THAT huge of an issue. The tune on the other hand makes a difference. Low end boost and detonation also make a difference on how the rods will faire.

Not to mention the previous condition of the engine.

It's all about conditions and hugely dependent on you and the "human factor".

90% sure turbo should be a 13G and not a 13T. I have the auto version of that car in the US (now manual swapped and running a 16T).

Intercooler is on mine, but is getting pulled to make room for an FMIC.
