leurven
Hey guys! I hope all of you are having a great New Years and getting ready for summer auto enthusiast season! I know that the Volvo Club here in the SF Bay area have some great events planned. Now on to business... SharpHID has just recently added XPEL products to our line of lighting related products. For those unfamiliar XPEL is a great headlight protection system that includes the corners and fogs lights. We have them available in clear, blue, yellow, or smoked. XPEL will protect those expensive lights from rock chips, cracks or fading and discoloration. I've personally had XPEL on my vehicle for over 18 months and love it (especially on the debris ridden roads around San Francisco). The first two times I drove my V70R to the bay area I smashed a fog on both occasions. I have yet to have any issues now that the lights are protected. Installation is straight forward and simple. Instructions are available upon request. So let's get started with some sale pricing: All Volvo Models: $44.95 Shipping CONUS: $15 per kit - multiple kit shipping discounts available. Order here As always you can PM me here or email me with any questions. I'm also looking for photos of XPEL installed on your vehicle hence the sale price being so cheap. Please email them to me if you have any of the XPEL specific product on your vehicle. Regards, John

TurboS60
does this in any way affect light output on headlights or the fogs? The smoked ones will. Im not sure if Xpel offers a "light smoke" that doesnt affect light output much, but I know other brands do.
Bah
Before people go out and do the smoked... Isn't it unlawful (against DOT) to smoke them? Not trying to hurt sales or anything, but you can get away with HIDs a bit easier since some cars come stock with it...i dont think any cars come stock with smoke headlights =p Only say that cause in FL they care about this stuff... Doesn't change the rest of the product line up though. If i had headlights worth a turd i'd use them =0 Might get the yellows for the fogs if you guys end up offering! leurven
It is a good idea to check with your local DMV regarding the use of colored film on your headlights. I know the rules for fog lights are different than for low beams in CA for instance where I believe we can use yellow film on our fogs here legally (still check with your DMV though). does this in any way affect light output on headlights or the fogs? As someone said the colored films most likely will. However with HIDs offering the extra brightness you may not notice. But general rule being that a colored film is blocking some light throughput. The clear films have been tested to not block any measurable amount of light. We do have yellows for the fogs already.
