Rsterns Posted February 17, 2010 Report Share Posted February 17, 2010 If this is on the 940, and if it's the same as my '96 960, there is a small black plug near the trip reset in the main instrument cluster, you remove that plug, and take a blunt tooth pick or equivalent, and with the ignition turned to on, press the button under the plug with the tooth pick until the light resets. I used to stomp on my service light lamp after I removed it (before I got VOL-FCR) and then I threw it down the street just to make sure that it can never come back.
