Matty Moo
part # 9140773 $40 shipped via priority mail. I currently have 5 of these. Rebuilt, by me. Fits 96-98 non-tracs models. Lifetime warranty. I send this to you, you install it. You take your old one and send it back to me in a timely manner (not 3 weeks or a month). No downtime on your end or driving without a module. I currently have five of these, and NO tracs units. People haven't been returning them. I haven't been doing core charges-yet. Help me keep it that way by actually returning a usable unit to me. If the module on your car has been hacked open by somebody, I don't want it. Pm me about purchasing one if that is the case. Below is an example of what NOT to send back to me. Dave 54
Might have to look into this. My 96 the tracs hasn't worked in awhile, well I should say it works when it feels like it. Bought the car and never worked 6 months after having car worked for a day, then 4 months later sarted working again for about 2 weeks and is now not working again. Any ideas where I should check 1st to maybe rule things out or is it pretty much the switch and the control unit?

Is it just your tracs, or tracs/abs? They fail because the pins on the board start cracking. Lets say you have one or two cracked pins. This is when the intermittent behavior starts as they may or may not make contact occasionally. The cracks create resistance, which creates heat when current flows through it. That cycling makes it worst to the point where it doesn't work anymore.

Matty Moo
I rebuild the entire module. There are around 25 pins that I redo, whether they are faulty or not. This takes care of all the issues, permanently.
