tboyko
I'm planning on making some enclosures for my rear deck speakers, just so I can get some actual bass out of them (right now they are sitting open through the stock volvo openings). What direction should I have them point? Up towards the glass as they already do, more towards the back ceiling of the car, or forwards? I would prefer the stealth look and point more upwards if it doesn't make a difference, but if it does, I'll sacrifice a bit for audio quality. Also, I want to either mount my sub in the spare tire area of my car or behind one of the taillights. If i did it behind a tail light, would it be better to have the sub point across the car or more diagonally and towards the front of the car? I plan to get a fairly nice JL 10"...Also, for making enclosures, is it generally better to go wood for fiberglass, or wood and fiberglass where needed? Thanks!
