chaze1385
Can someone tell me the differences between the turbo and non turbo 850 auto transmissions? 94 model in particular. I know the turbo has a higher stall speed convertor. ANd is geared a little different. WOuld like to know the gearing of both please. Guest KeVTRoN
Do you have your owner's manual? I know for sure that gear ratio's are in there. Try Google man that's all I can say.
_HighVoltage_
Don't take my word for granted, but I think the transmissions are the same - AW 50-42. It's the TCU that is different and these don't cost too much.

jdlc
Cant find my owners manual Disregarding gear ratios, I'd like to state that 94-95 ATs are different than 96+, although 96+ can be used for 94 or 95 cars with a little wiring ingenuity (I used to own a 94T with a 98T5 AT tranny). laird
so can someone tell me the different gear ratios? The ratios are the same: 1st, 3.61 2nd, 2.06 3rd, 1.37 4th, 0.98 R, 3.95 The only difference is the final drive ratio which is: Turbo, 2.54 N/A, 2.74 You're on your own as far as the stall speed is concerned. 99 and newer are different electronically even though they sport the same model number.
