JCviggen Posted March 23, 2010 Report Share Posted March 23, 2010 I ran a T3/T4 in the past and it worked very well (even on the stock engine) I looked at the pics you uploaded and I wouldn't use that turbonetics wastegate that came with that t3/t4. Get rid of it, as it is worthless. Those cheap e-bay copy turbos will hit the transmission mount severely due to their turbine housing design. Tried it once, didn't even remotely fit. Different than a 50 trim T04E compressor although I'm pretty sure you know that Chinabay is usually a copy of a 57 trim T04E wheel (not as good as the 50). Your car should be pretty exciting... If it was real mitsubishi, I don't see why they wouldn't advertise it as such. Also, no specs on inlet/outlet dimensions, and you'll need a complete external WG setup. I'd say contact Hahn Racecraft & see how much they get to ship to the UK, their 20g is Mitsubishi, an I doubt they'll charge more than the 60quid that place is asking for shipping... Of course I had to make pretty much everything myself, including the flanges for turbo-downpipe and gate to downpipe flange. My new setup will be using the ATP UIWG for now.
