Mesoam
the MAF's on these cars are VERY sensitive to debris/oil and other contaminants. Attempting to clean these normally causes more damage, the only way out is a new sensor (OEM is the best)
FAST850R
I just saw the 715 last weekend on my old Mitsubishi my brother has now. It is a speed sensor on the transmission. Are experiencing some flaky shifting? Actually, it shifting fine. No problem what so ever.... I kind of think that it's the MAF because MPG is not that great even with new fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, rotor, and cap. Throttle feels not really responsive, and to reach 5000 rpm, it's kind of slow. I need to check the J hose under the battery tray, and I have to find an used MAF from a junk yard. I replaced transmission speed sensor, but I still get the P0715 code.....can this be ECU problem??? the MAF's on these cars are VERY sensitive to debris/oil and other contaminants. Attempting to clean these normally causes more damage, the only way out is a new sensor (OEM is the best) Yeah, I guess trying to clean it up with electric cleaner was a bad idea. I have to find a used one at junk yards....
