1998 V70 Glt - Contemplating T5 Setup

Recommended Posts

Gents,

Simply: Does anyone have proof that running the stock '98 Glt injectors i.e. "red" injectors while running a 15G or 16t turbo and T5 ecu is recipe for problems and lean mixure? I'm contemplating the upgrade as I have acquired a 15G turbo for free and now have a '98 Glt on my hands..... It's hard for me to not upgrade really. Cost- wise it would be great if I just had to find myself a T5 ecu at a junkyard somewhere alone and merely bolt on this 15G.

i was running a 16t, t5 ecu with reds in my glt for a good amount of miles with no problems, not sure if i was running lean, i was told i was better off with the whites, since i had a t5 ecu and they call for those injectors, so i got them now.

Does anyone have hp and torque numbers? I'm just curious. What fuel needs to be used... 91 or 93?

i don't have hp or torque numbers, im guessing im about 245hp, maybe 250lbs torque but i know my 0-60 time is like 6.3 secs with this setup, compared to what like 7.7 stock, i usually use 93, sometimes add in some octane booster.
