Volvo says to do it this way, I've personally blown up a CCM NOT doing it according to their procedure. Were it my car, I'd DO IT THE WAY THE TECHS SAY TO DO IT. But hey - you know what's best! If you were the individual in the picture posted (total mockery and distaste IMO) you probably wouldn't even have a car. Erm.. perhaps it is because I also "know and have experienced", and Volvo suggests my recommendation as the correct procedure. Do it whatever way YOU wish to do it. I was merely presenting what I was told by Volvo as the correct way to go about it, and speaking from my experience of blowing out a CCM. Welcome to the dead-thread, btw....
