Is there a way to replace the light behind the LCD on the radio? I hear this one requires soldering. I replaced the others today with the little honda lights, works great. The light behind the lcd worked before i did this

Yeah, the one behind the LCD requires soldering. You basically have to desolder the metal housing over the LCD, but DO NOT desolder the LCD pins. Once the metal housing is gone, you should be able to see the illumination lamp on the side of the LCD. Its only lit by one bulb. The lamp can be found at radioshack (part# 272-1092).

nice picture for that LCD bulb... i hacked up an extra honda bulb that i had to replace mine(removed the bulb from the plastic base and then cut the leads from the bulb down to size).
